Admission to all three Branches is made on the basis of merit cum choice of the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Council of Joint Entrance Examination of Uttar Pradesh. The forms for the same are released in the month of December and the last date of submitting the forms is generally last week of February. This combined Examination is held for Admissions to all Polytechnics of Uttar Pradesh in Group A .
